Since I made this I should post my finds. This year I have found a 1898 nickel and a 1876 seated liberty quarter. Last year I found a 1898 cent. I only have pictures for the quarter right now.

It does not matter how old your coins are, just post your oldest finds. For example my oldest half find is a 1965.

I know they are not pretty, but at 150+ years old I was very very amazed to find them.

The coin on the left was found in a CWR from a credit union, the same group of cent rolls also produced an 1893 IHC. This was found in April 2014.

The cent on the left is a bit cruddier, but makes up for it in being a BWR coin - kind of amazing to think a coin thicker and heavier than even a 3.11 gram bronze cent would make it through a coin machine somewhere, but it managed to. This coin came from a HL String roll and box purchased at a commercial bank in August 2014.

Exactly 32 of them. Oldest 1871 and newest 1907. Roughly half of them are less than good condition.

I started actively roll searching in 2007, found the first in May of 2010 and the most recent back in Sept of last year. One time I got four bags of cents from a commercial bank and found three of them in the search, along with a couple of hundred or so wheats. So I went three years without finding a single one, until 2010. Lately I have gradually done less and less roll searching because I just don't have lots of time.

Thanks. I started small in 2014 and found my first that year. Then last year I found one around spring. I then found another one on December 25 being, it being my oldest at that time dated 1900 and then found my oldest on December 31 dated 1898. Out of those 2 years I have searched about 4 more times that total of those two years combined this year. Yet I have not found one. I have found 4 total.
