OK so I Search rolls.. But I have this new kick of error hunting..
I have been able to go through my old hoard .. coins I have had foe a long time.. And then find that I had VAM Hot 100 Coins sitting around...
    So now I am hooked..
Well searching some rolls today I found these few that looked to me to have error..
I did my best to get close ups.. Not sure I did that great with my scanner..

The 1943 Looks to me to have very strong doubling on the "3" and if you look you can see the 4 has a soft ghost double to the east ,, same as the 3...

    The 1943 S looks to have a doubled mint mark or maybe a S over D ????

The 1961 D .. Well I swear with my loop it loos to be tripled..

Any opinions on these would be great..
It can be hard to get the eye to really find the right stuff and not just Machine doubling.. and still learning..

Thanks to all... Your the BEST!!!!

I don't think '43's were built to last forever from the get~go.

I have quite a few that suffer various types of "rot" because of their composition.

Great scans! But I don't see anything super special.

Perhaps the pros will pass this way and set us right.

    Well I hope..
On the 43 You dont see the extra 43 with a strong 3 ?
I thought I had one there...
I still like this find from the other day...

    Yep. I think I also see a 3 twice.

Kind of like I see parts of the paint job on my '84 pickup twice in spots.

I hope some pro will perhaps set me straight but I believe it "common" to have the under layer corrode up under the date on '43's.

Now, that NO DATE looks more precious! :p

I believe the 61-D actually has a die chip in the mint mark.
