If you save them as they are someday in the far distant future, about 100 years, they will be worth about double what you paid. Have some fun, open them, look for errors, place a few in an album, spend the rest.
Hey Bill, If I were you I would go through them and see if you find anything cool as you can definitely find more out there. I found best way to find 2009's is to go to the biggest bank you can find which in my area is Wachovia. When I was unemployed I went bank hopping and ended up finding about $300 worth of 2009 lincolns. All P mint as I am in Georgia but was lucky enough to find 1 box of log cabins plus 10-20 misc rolls, and found like 10+ boxes of the formative years and am just sitting on a bunch of them for now Oops I am rambling... anyway just go open it J
