I found a beautiful roll of 1944-P cents today, in a plastic tube, and got them for $11.00.

I looked through them a bit, not totally, and the coins I looked at are perfect--no carbon spots, no marks, nothing.

I was considering putting them into 2x2's and selling them individually, but I was looking on ebay, and completed sales haven't been that great, although sales for coins in slabs have been $9 to $17 each.

The completed sales for rolls was better, but the best prices were for OBW, and a roll in a tube didn't sell at all.

I'd love to send some off to be slabbed, but I think the price to do it would be more than what I could sell them for--unless they graded really high.

    Advice?

Uhhh...cheap learning experience? Why did you by them in the first place? Was it for yourself or re-sell?

If you can, you might post a photo of the best one, and maybe we could help.

It is so common that I would not bother unless you are

It is so common that I would not bother unless you are very experienced in telling the difference between MS-65, 66, 67 and be certain about them possibly grading very high. It's a common date/mint sometimes you get lucky and get a nice roll - it's just a common date roll.
