"RLM's cents is CoinTalk's BEST CENT GRADER !" No duh -- I could have told you that and saved you a lot of time. On a more serious note, congrats to the winners and thanks to the OP for the contest...Mike
CONGRATULATIONS RLM!!! I'm not surprised in the least that you took this one home. You are truly the master of the Cent  And thank you again Bahabully; I had an awesome time. And kudos on acquiring such a WONDERFUL collection of Cents. -LTB
Congrates RLM!! Thank you Bahabully for your work in putting this up. And yes I'm up for any guess the grades if you want by type...fine. If you want by denom...fine. If you want a mix....fine. I'm in for it. Th;anks again!
Congrats RLM, What's his prize Bahabully, I think you should give him 1909 S VDB. Whens the next round this has been fun.
For future information: Can new and unexperienced CT folks try it out? Or would this make it less fun for the experienced members. I have a Red Book to refer to and that is about it.
Congrats RLM! :kewl: Thanks for doing all that work bullyman! That was a fun exercise! ....and thanks for the Lincolns I won in the fun round! :smile
hey Sunflower like RLM stated you should try! because you will never get better at learning how to grade if you dont try. Heck, I am brand new to this and enjoy the learning curve that bahabully is giving me :goof:..and his smart remarks  Join in the fun. I am glad that he has time to do this for us. It helps a lot.
Thank you all for the kind words,, it's been fun for me also, and I'm learning alot as well. I can probably pony up another cent in the next round, during the fun round session, for a winner. Anyone can play, the more the better..... RLM's grading was amazing to watch,,, minimized the zingers, nailed many, and was always willing to impart knowledge to the players and myself... good stuff.
You'll have to post them for us, but we can definitely include in the thread... I just don't have enough to populate a full thread with them.
congrats rlms, that was fun to watch. You obviously know your stuff, but those of us who have been around a while already knew that TY bahabully for doing this
Congraatulations everyone, I learned a lot watching and reading what you guys said. I am def in if you decide to do this again
So,, RLM's,,, are you a dealer or collector,, or both ? If dealer,, do you have a site where folks could browse your offerings ? It's obvious you've been dealing with cents for some time..... Financeman,, the next round is out there,,, taking a more robust view this time with multiple denominations. should be interesting.
Collector - the only dealing I do is if I see a bargain, I buy with the intent of selling to enhance my collection. I have been collecting since the mid 50's, but not the grades I have now. I did not really get into the upper grades until 5/6 years ago.
Congrats RLM. I've been collecting cents for about 40 years and I'm always amazed at yoiur knowledge on the great and wonderful penny.
