I bought 4 rolls of cents from the gas station. Found this 1973 P cent. It has prominent rim doubling on the left side, def. off center struck. Worth anything?

79c give or take a few dollars. J/K!

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

You should find an expert collector to look at that coin. The rim is a misaligned die but the doubling of the letters is not.

What doubling? Looks normal to me...other than the slight MAD.

I agree with the MAD - Misaligned Die - I collect these Cents. What you have is called a False Double Rim - A lot of them were minted in the early 1970's. You have a nice one there! But fairly common and not a major error. Off Center would show the Reverse side affected also.

downloadfile-17-1.jpg The photos aren't the best but I can definitely see the split serifs on this coin.

I'll take some clearer shots when I get time. So would it be a DDO/DDR?

I still see nothing, just blurry glare. Better images may reveal more.

These didn't come out much better. I tried. It must be my camera.

I've got a few of these coins. They're probably pretty common considering the number I have, but I still keep every one.
