Rim Damage?

    Definitely, that kind is usually called a rim bruise and usually results from the coin be dropped on its edge.

    More worrisome to me are the scratches on the obv and rev. And before somebody says those are adjustment marks - aint buyin it. The lines from adjustment marks were never that close together as they are on the obv. And I have never, ever, seen adjustment marks on both sides of the coin. And the marks on the rev are visible in the denticles from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock.
