Rim Break?

    The rim on the coin appears to be broken, is this legitimate? Also, would it command a premium.

    I figured, but I didnt think it would bend, just chip. Im pretty new you see :)

    Hey, that's fine. All have been new at one point or another of that makes sense. And to learn, you need to ask questions like you did. If you are looking for errors and all, www.coppercoins.com is a good place to go to to learn more about different types of errors. Also here is another great place to find things out. What kind of coins do you prefer to collect?

    I live in Canada, so most of them are Canadian. Im also not to good financially so I mostly go for roll searching penny/nickles/dimes. I save anything pre 1970, not to worried about the financial side. I have found a lot of wheat cents ( in 10 rolls of pennies, nearly 15) Thanks for all the help :)

    looks like it was dropped in a parking lot sometime in its life. canada must be good coin roll huting area!:cool: i know another person that find tons of wheats in canada. alaska is really good too. i guess it takes coins awhile to circualte, so all the old ones are far away. thats what i came up with.
