    Here are two denarii of riding Septimius Severus:
    - SEPTIMIVS SEVERVS, Laureate head r., ,” L SEPT SEV PER[T-AVG] IMP VIIII” Rev.: “PROFEC_TI_O AVG” Emperor on horseback prancing right, spear pointing forward in both hands Mint: Rome 197 AD, AR D. (17mm x 18mm, 2.02gr.) Ref.: RIC IV, Part I, 106 .Ex Vel Garnett Collection.
    - SEPTIMIVS SEVERVS, Laureate head r., "IMP CAE L SPE SEV PERT AVG COS II" (interesting celator error in spelling of the emperor's name)Rev.: "SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI" Emperor in military dress on horseback, holding spear ARD. Mint:Emesa, 194 AD., Ref.:RSC 1637, (20), RIC.415,BMC.389, ill.16.20(268gr./18mm./12h.

    I really like riding types on ancient coins.

    Your COS II has the PBINCIPI error. Don't get too excited though because coins with the error are FAR more common than those without the error.
    Nice ones though.

    Here is my raising hand variety with the same error.
