okay, we know that there is at least one strike.

How did you last so much longer than I did?

actually it was pretty simple. the other coins held a specific description based on grade.

plus there is only at least 1 grade per that peticular condition. so through a process of comparision of the coin you can make the determination of which one it is.

this coin is a bit different as well it does fall in the VF catagory. it has major damage on the obverse as well as being worn. the back looks a lot better.

the only difference is i didn't know exactly which number since vf ranges from 25-35.

so there is no need to critize.

I'm going to call this AU-58 NT

I'm torn on this one, and I think this will be the round I go out on!

I'm tempted to go with what Ziggy said, as I think it is AU, although I think it could be a candidate for a slider, and might have graded so.

    Whatever, I'm going MS64. :D

    dracula370 Mmmmmmm......Bacon

I almost agree too...but then the rubs on the obverse looks like toning rubbed off down to silver to me. I'm thinking maybe a Battle Creek pedigree....MS65

  11. hiho

hiho off to work we go

Looks MS-64 to me but since that's taken I'll say MS-63.

The obverse toning is quite amazing, fantastic photograph!

OK, with James1 making his post that means that all 5 have posted their grades and the round is now closed. Only 1 person got this round correct...that person is.........tmoneyeagles with MS64.

This means we are now down to 2 contestants. dracula370 picked up his first strike and tmoney (also with 1 strike) both will advance to round 6. Congratulations!
