I don't have any paper currency, but I have a 1957 & 1964 3 Pence coins from Rhodesia & Nyasaland. I also have a 1956 E. Africa 1 cent, and from South Africa a 1 shilling 1943, 3d (3 cents?) 1942, and 1957 1/4D ( 1/4 cent?). They are in 2x2's, and were part of my Aunt's collection that I inherited in '97. Have any idea what the ball park value might be? Wyliecoyote
Wyliecoyote, the pre-decimal currency of South Africa & the Rhodesian states was 12 Pence (12d.) = 1 Shilling (1/-),& 20/- = 1 Pound.South Africa issued their own Farthings,as did Ireland. South Africa issued their last Farthings in 1960,but Ireland issued their last Farthings in 1966. Aidan.
