Pretty excited they both straight graded! I hit a home run on the 1851/1851-O. Almost like a triple error coin?!
Nice coins, I haven't seen a lamination error like that before or a retained die crack. thanks for sharing. The only question I have is, were these cherry picks?
Honestly, I thought the 1851-O had a shot at grading "cleaned". It was borderline for me. I would have been thrilled with any straight grade! The 1927 I was hoping for low MS or high AU, so I am pleased with it too! Yes, they were! I paid a small premium for both, so I think a few others might have seen what I saw too, but I didn't pay anywhere near what I think they are now worth.
