I'm going through a particular denomination of Philippine coins and can't seem to locate the mint marks. It looks as though the Standard Catalog is telling me that there are several mint marks for a particular year, but it's not telling me where I can find it on the coins. I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know of a resource that can help me with this sort of thing? Google searches did not help at all. Thanks!
It would be easier to tell you if you said what denomination it is you are looking at. Regardless, I am fairly positive that the mark is always near the date. i.e. 10 cent coins have the MM to the left of the date. etc.
If it's a US-Phil coins, those that don't have mint marks were minted in Philadelphia mints. http://coin.filipinonumismatist.com/2009/04/introduction-to-us-philippines-coins.html
