Wanted to know thoughts on this. Does anyone reslab coins from one grading company to another. Was considering reslabbing this: http://thumbs1.ebaystatic.com/d/l180/pict/360819533896_1.jpg to a PCGS slab. I realize I risk a downgrade. Thx.

I wouldn't touch it for the purposes of crossing, lots of gashes and the verdigris on Lincoln's shoulder and at 8 o'clock on the obverse would scare me from trying to cross the coin.
Currently the PCGS crossover rate is about 33%. Meaning one in three coins will cross at the same grade. It can be a way to make money flipping, but not a reliable method.
They will take any CPG ( 4th) entry, but it is an extra $24 fee for attribution of variety. Not worth it in this variety, IMO.
