It looks to be a follis from the Emperor Constantine Obverse: IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG. Laureate, helmeted and cuirassed bust right. No idea what is on the reverse since you didn't provide pictures. Valuewise? I wouldn't pay much, if anything for it tbh. The coin isn't in great shape and they are fairly common. If it is in that holder and can't be removed, maybe $5. If the holder is gold or silver or something, probably the melt value of the metal.

I assume the reverse is two victories flanking a shield but it makes no matter. furryfrog02 covered the question well. Each mint had its own style which one of us might figure out but if you want to know, you need to see the mintmark on the reverse if that is not obscured by the mount. Since Constantine was the first Christian Roman emperor, his coins are popular as jewelry gifts for Christian ladies. Even if not good silver, the mount probably outvalues the coin.

Not much to add here. Indeed, it is a Constantine VLPP. In that condition, the coin is probably worth $10-20. This coin type is ubiquitous, and I probably would not collect your example unless I needed that particular mint. Good news is, it’s a real coin from the fourth century. Which is really cool.
