If anyone is going and happens to notice any nice, lower-grade (G, AG), problem-free Draped Bust Dollars (1798-1799), please shoot me a message with the dealer's contact info. I know it's a rather narrow focus. Sorry 'bout that. Don't go out of your way, but if you happen to see one, please let me know. Thanks.
Rest assured, not only will I be looking, I'll get contact data for anyone who has what you're looking for. And by this point I know exactly what you're looking for. That's one of the reasons to attend shows if you can - there are some quality dealers out there whose businesses are successful enough that they haven't bothered investing the major time involved in an online presence. Half the coins I bought at the last spring Baltimore show came from people who don't appear on the Internet.
It's cool - we got you covered. This is about as large a bourse as one could reasonably cover in one visit, but I'll see every table. Even looking on your behalf as well, my focus is relatively narrow and I can move quickly. And don't forget the World's Fair of Money is in Philly next year....
@Jaelus thanks. I do have him bookmarked... he has more DBD's than just about anybody, but the cheapest DBD I see on his site at the moment is about $2k and out of my price range. I've emailed him in the past and asked him if he had anything to meet my criteria, but I have not heard from him in a while.
