    Hi Dave!

Say, those look like the coins I sold you.:thumb: all of them have split serifs, as I double-checked each coin I was sending to you, and I came to the conclusion that all were RPMs. That is not to say, however, that all of them are major enough to be listed, but they are RPMs nonetheless.

Yes! It is good to hear from you Simon. I know they are not major RPM's, but they are very cool and I use them extensively as a basis/reference as I look to keep myself from looking to far into a coin. I have received generally good response from this forum as I put them up and try and mix them with ones I have found to see if I am on the right track.

Whenever, someone here has a real tough or borderline cent, I always send them over to the Lincolncentresource to ask.

Anyway, did you get an opportunity to go to the Long Beach show?

I hope you didn't charge more than 3 cents apiece for them.

Did not, maybe I will go next spring or summer. Did you go? I've always wanted to.

    D.T. Menace,
I sold these minor RPMs, along with some not as minor ones, in a grab bag of 22 I believe. It averaged out to about 60 cents per coin, and I can't remember, but I probably threw in an extra coin or two. It was one of my first times selling, so please forgive me for selling them at a higher price.

What is important is I am satisfied and have looked at them so that I may better know what to look for. Sure, they are very minor varieties, but they provide those on a modest budget a cheap thrill when we find them on our own. And, to find them, one must know what to look for and having actual cents to reference is great.

I did not get a chance to go. I believe there is a coin show here in Vegas this December that I am going to try and take the time to get to.
