I'm a hoarder. Whenever I get some pocket change, I give it a quick once over and then stash it somewhere for a closer look later. My closet, my car, office, basement, shop, or any other convenient spot will do. Eventually I get to the point where I need to clear out all the loose change everywhere. I never expect to find anything rare, but I can plug holes in my circulated albums and folders and I get to feel like I'm still a coin collector without the pain to the wallet. So I'm sorting all the pennies*, and I soon notice I have a pile of 2017-P Zincolns - with a "P" mintmark - so I look it up and .. oh yeah! 2017 commemorated the anniversary of the Philadelphia Mint, and they gave Lincoln a mint mark. So if they're valuable collectible commemoratives, I'm on easy street! Sorry for the long post, I've be sorting change for hours and I'm a little buggy.... *yeah, I called them pennies
Generally hoarding is a bad thing, but when it comes to coins it's an admirable trait. Congratulations ! Bruce
