I have one of the above coins but after searching on the net in cannot find any coins matching this. The one I have has "commod.Aur.Sign. Ad .Negot.Erythr.written on it and weighs approx 32 grams. The only coins/medals similar to this that I can find are silver and not gold ?. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks jjOO, that coin looks similar but they one I have is gold and not silver. The wording is also slightly different as is the weight, the coin in your link has the letters ARG where as my one has AUR also my coin weighs 32 whilst the coin in your link weighs 28. Thanks for your help can you suggest anything else ?

After looking at as many different sites as possible it definitely looks the same as the Tallero but as stated is gold and the weight is approx 4 grams heavier than what the Tallero is
