Been looking for this one for a long time. Finally was able to purchase what I thought was a nice example. The coin has a small rim bump on the obverse which does not cause too much distraction for me. The reverse appears to have a nice die crack and the rotation is off, notice the photo. The cc Morgan was an opportunity purchase at a good price. I would appreciate opinions on grading and any other comments. Thanks, Mike

    1837 looks to be a EF-45,1882-CC VF-30

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

That is an attractive RE Half, with a nice, even, dark grey appearance. So many of these are spotted, unattractive, blotchy, ugly colored, or worse. The rim bump will preclude TPG holdering, but I would still call it a nice EF+.

I would agree that the half has XF details, but it looks to me like it has suffered some corrosion at some point making the surfaces pitted. I also agree that it would not slab.
