Reeded edge bust half with problems

    Standard question. The coin looks good even with the problems.

    Well, it does seem to have an attractive look.
    I would be proud to own it, for sure.

    Always hard to price a coin with problems.
    My guess would be in the $150 range (retail), but again, that's just a guess.

    Thats also what I thougt when I bought it. I paid the XF price of $130 at the time and had it certified by ANACS. I was surprised it came back as an AU and scratched with XF details. It sold on ebay for $115.00 Oh well.

    Yes, in this case, the slab probably didn't help.
    Don't get me wrong, an accurate description can avoid a lot of problems, and can lead to repete customers, but there are a lot of coins like that on eBay that sell raw, and with little or no description, for more.

    From the picture you show, neither the scratch, nor the cleaning, is readily visible.
