It is a nice coin. I know everyone likes to pick on him since he is enamored of it. However, if you look at it, it IS a superior example of a double denomination. I have seen others since he has posted his, and have not seen as clear an example. I do not know what his would be worth, but I am guessing above $1000 at least. One thing you have to hand to him, he is a man who knows how to love a coin! Chris
I've seen several other "Penny on Dime" double denomination coins going for about $3500 starting price on eBay. I think redwin thinks he's got his lotto retirement coin in hand but sadly he'll be trying to sell it for 10 million until he dies. I could actually care less but what I am tired of is him hijacking threads on every opportunity to post that penny dime, I'd consider it spamming at this point.
Nice story, but beyond believable IMO. The coin is nice but I think he is asking way too much for his coin. You could probably buy 3 of the 5 famous 1913 Nickels for what he's asking for his coin.
Reminds me of an old television show called "The Millionaire" Someone knocking on the door, a mysterious man from a nameless benefactor opens a suitcase with money in it. How it changes the recipients life, ect... I hope for Redwins' sake, only the TV show is fantasy. If he is trying to sell this coin, I'm not sure if his narative is going to help him sell its' authenticity to anyone.
It's all wishful thinking. You would think that after all these years of the hyping of this coin that the seller would finally realize that maybe, just maybe he was the one that was wrong and the other hundreds (or thousands) of people (some professionals in this field) were correct. I'm done commenting or responding to any post about this coin.
