Were these found in circulation, if so that is awesome.

Here's a trivia for you, United States Notes are direct obligations of the US Treasury as opposed to Federal Reserve Bank Notes which are only obligations of the private Federal Reserve Bank (which allegedly is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States).

Nice notes. The five isn't too bad being that it came from circulation. Could've been worse. I'd keep them both. Thanks for sharing.

BZ to me that $2 is in super condition, you should try finding US notes over here in the UK of that age:D

If you collect American Currency, maybe these are hard to find in the UK. This is a 1928G $2.00 US Note. The series 1928G were released from 16 Jan 1950- 6 May 1953. This is not as old as the series seems to indicate. As far as American currency, small size notes are concerned, this is not old, but sort of later middle aged. As you may or may not know, at least here in the States, the age of a coin or piece of currency has no relavence as far as condition is concerned. No special consideration is given as far as age or date of issue. As far as currency is concerned, this note is a VG whether it was dated 1928-G, issued in the 1950`s, or released last year. Same goes for our Large size notes

Usually the same thing works for US coins. A Bust half minted in 1817 gets no more special consideration than a Walker minted in 1917 as far as condition. It is a VG or it isn`t. The age of the coin or currency does not matter.

    Everything depends on condition...and Series.
The Fr#1503 1928-B is worth up to 60K in Gem...and then you have the 1953 and 1963 Series ranging from 6.00 to 60.00

You will need to be specific in your request!
