I can show you better than I can tell you. Due to the rich red color and their high grade, what would some of these be worth?
The 1968S is in really good condition. Unfortunately, they aren't worth much. I have many uncirculated 1974 Memorial cents, many BU, and unless they're graded, probably not too valuable. With the 1960 cents, there is the small and large date variety, and I think you have the small date. Still, each coin, even the 1968 S would probably be worth under $1. Here's a proof 1968 S on sale on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-S-PRO...=item2c7e7243fb:g:VrwAAOxyXzxTIf0A:rk:17:pf:0
nice coins for a coin folder, but not worth more than face value IMO, they would need to be near perfect to be of any value, i like the '55, i'd have that in my folder fer sure, an the 1960 is a large date...
ken454- is it? Looks like a small date to me, the 0 is circular, not an oval, and is much smaller than the 6.
Wow, that is a beauty. Seems as though it should be worth more than $1.92 by far. Thanks for reminding me about the 1960 small and large date, had totally forgot about checking for that. I guess I will just keep them in my collection and as time goes by maybe one day they will be worth more. Thanks for responding.
Lincoln Cents from 1960 on were hoarded due to the 1960 small date thing, and lower productions in 1961-1964. which made a shortage of circulating cents in the mid 60's, and really did not end until 1970. The people that hoarded all those cent are now passing on, their collections to the next generation so a lot of these older cents are now easier to find in Almost Uncirculated condition. Ten years ago it was hard to find a AU 1968-S cent. IMO Every time I get coins like the ones you posted I stop to think why, and then I remember that another collection has been separated from is previous owner.
