Why are Red Book coin prices so much lower than the listed prices in Coin World?
Red Book list the IHC MS 63 @ $55 and Coin World lists the same coin @ $250

Do you really think Coin World would risk embarrassing their advertisers by publishing a list of prices that are contrary to what the advertisers want to sell their products for?

Neither price guide is worth much.

I quit consulting Coin World prices. Strangely, in many cases, I only wished I could buy a coin at the price they quoted.

I reviewed 3 IHC at PCGS and Coin World and their prices were right on with hertitage auctions prices realized. That being the case I will submit my IHC for grading as the values are definitely higher than Red Book listings
