I'm on a roll. Here's my second post asking about non-US error(?) coins that I have. These two have the last digit in the date repunched(?) Since I don't know the coining processes used to make GB&BC coins in the '40s I figured this would be a good place to ask. 1. Are the last digits repunched(?) recut(?) 2. Any premium? Actually I have 2 of the 1945 coins that may be from the same die, but at a different time in the die life. Similar die cracks.
kanga on the 1943, if the other areas of the coin were also doubled I would have thought a Double die. As is, both re-punched dates. Nice examples.
