Valens perhaps Thessalonica - soldier dragging captive by the hair I say Valens because the size of the letters make the longer name of Valentinian hard to fit. This often helps in separating the two. Below is a similar Valentinian from a different issue with different field symbols and officina:
Thank you. I see all point you give me. It's AE3 2g 15-18mm very tiny. Can you tell me what is abbreviation AE3 screen shot on windows
google say "The letters stand for the Latin names of the metals": AE =metal latin name (AES) So AE,1,2,3,4,... they are have same metal just number is for the size? Is this corect? Or AE stand for some other thing Like AD= After Dead, BF=before Christ
Fun fact about 'AD' is that it is supposed to come before the date rather than after, where it is usually placed. For example Octavian was given the title Augustus in 27 BC and passed away in AD 14. Personally, I prefer to use Common Era (CE) and Before Common Era (BCE). I had a prof in university who was stickler for dates and stressed this extensively.
In all communist country we should not mention christ so we talking p.n.š and n.š translate will be like: "before we count" and "when we start count
I don't want open new post so I will ask her if somebody can tell me what is this meaning. What's this describe? what she hold in her heand and what is on left side of coin at the feet
