So my father went with me to a coin dealer today and while i was looking at a couple he bought me three nickels

Total price was $27.50 but the dealer knocked it down to $22.00. FYI in case you are wondering what is on that 50 D, it is naturally toned.

That still seems a little high to me but I dont want to tell my father. I was thinking of getting him a gift card or something his kindess (plus I dont want to be rude).
What do you think? Is it as bad as I think or eh not so bad?

    Thanks guys.

I like the 1943P, the reverse show a bit of the blended metals composition, like a 'woody' cent has.
