Recent acquistions i have been away from the list for about 2 weeks on vacation. in that time i have added a few new coins to the collection. Lincoln cent; 1940 error coin - grease on both obverse and reverse dies Jefferson nickel; 1939 AU-50 1943-D MS-60 1943-S MS-60 Winged Liberty dime; 1944 AU58 (coin is damaged on reverse - deep scratch thru fasces) Walking Liberty half; 1939 MS-65 1941 MS-60 1941-D MS-60 1942 MS-60 1943 MS-60 1944 MS-60 1945 MS-60 -Steve
it's nice to look at a new pool of coins - you'll always find some nice gems if you look hard enough. i didn't have to look too hard. i walked away from one dealer confused - i saw many coins that i wouldn't pay $5.00 marked at $40 or more and saw several people pay those prices!!! not sure what that was about... all parties involved were Italian i'll get some pictures together tonight. -Steve
