I just finished searching a box of cents. Found a 1970 small date ( under all that crust is a swooping nine pointed directly at the seven). A 1973 S and a 1928 D AND A 1962 D

Yeah.... I think I get lucky for one reason. I never use the same bank unless its necessary. I drive for a living documenting approximately 10,000 miles a month through six states and have the opportunity to use different banks if they will sell them to me. I go out of my way to not frequent the same branches too often too. That works out because they rotate their tellers a lot. My bank has a location about every five miles in my area too so, I sort of rotate them. : ) My best find so far is a 1971 DDO type 1. actually, I have two but one was struck in a coin counter.
Here is the 1912 I found in the last box. That box was purchased at a M&T Bank near Newark, Delaware.

Yea...that's what I meant. But, that isn't what I have.. thanks for the check. It's no small date after I rubbed some of the crust off. Fooled by crust.
