Slowly I'm filling holes in my EAC collection. Here's two recent additions: 1802 Draped Bust Cent, S-242, NGC VF-25 BN, R-1 1824 Matron Head Cent, N-2, NGC VF-25 BN, R-1 One of these days I'll remember to polish the slabs before I take the images.
Those have a great look! Something I have done to "remove" slab scratches from photos: make a puddle of mineral oil on the slab over the coin, being careful not to let any bubbles get into it. After taking the photo, blot it off with tissue, and remove remaining traces with tissue and windex. repeat on other side if needed. The scratches won't show in the photos.
Thanks for the photos. It gives me an opportunity to take a photo of my own. It's one of those projects that is taking forever. To get phoios of my entire collection/ I finally made it to S-194, but most will be time consuming now. Newer coins are photographed, but older ones are either un-photographed or poorly photographed. Pretty close. I have a little more hair detail and you have the condition. Congratulations.
