Hi all, they finally made it home! I'm pretty happy with all of them. The main reason I wanted to submit these coins was to protect my 1930 Set. I wasn't really all that concerned with the grades. Please excuse the reflections and the dust LOL, I literally received them about and hour ago. I was in a big hurry to get them posted so you guys could check them out!
Aboslutly beautiful buddy, Congrats on the grades Kingdom coins are always hard to find in high end grades no matter the denomination. And the 1930 set will be safe for years to come Siggi
Thanks Siggi!, I probably wouldn't have the 1930 set if it wasn't for you! They are slabbed and safe, that was my only concern. I'll be picking up an Intercept storage box in a couple of weeks to store them in. Thanks Again Siggi!
Thanks Green, I'm glad you like them. I just LOVE the 1930 set, it's what got me started collecting Icelandic coins
Beautiful coins and congrats on the great NGC grades. You've peaked my interest in the Icelandic genre. I'm a sucker for beautiful coins.
Good deal Mark, glad to hear everything came out as good as it did. How do you feel about the grades on the 1930 set? Bruce
Thanks Bruce!, I'm fine with the all the grades. As you know I just wanted to have that set slabbed to conserve them. I figured it was the best way to go. Thanks!!
Thanks for your comment ahearn! One thing I can tell you, I'm having an absolute BLAST collecting Icelandic coins. They really are a challenge and that is what makes it interesting. They are hard to find in higher grades, even then they are still afforable for the most part, again IF you can find them. I also made some really great friendships in the process right here on CoinTalk. If you have ANY questions about these coins just ask! If I can't help you I know who can. We are always looking for people to join the "quest" LOL. Thanks Again!, Mark
That's what I like the slabs for too Mark...protection and a certain degree of comfort with grades and authenticity. Bruce
I agree totally, the grades mean nothing to me on those coins. I LIKE the coins and wanted to protect them
i'm doing exactly the same thing as you mark by trying to collect an example of every coin from argentina. but i still love my icelandic coins..........
Thats great moneyer!, I'd really like to see your Argentina collection. I know VERY little about their coinage, do you have photos posted anywhere? Also, I'm going to send you a PM. Thanks For your post!
