I have not gone out of my way to get a new Lincoln cent this year. I basically said I'll see one when I get one. Although I do plan on getting a mint set or two with the copper ones. Well, here we are, September 1st in northern Illinois and I finally received a 2009-P Log splitter in change from a Casey's gas station. I get change back nearly every day from a lot of different places around the area but have never gotten one. It was mixed in with several older pennies and is quite tarnished. Not from a fresh roll in the cash register. This one has been circulating a while.
