Received my coins from ANACS today - 30 VAMs

Sent 30 coins to ANACS at the 15 day service level. It took almost 6 weeks to leave my house and return. I don't mind the wait if it's related to improving the new slab.

There was a letter of apology in the box regarding the delay and the recently improved holder. Also received a couple of freebies.

There have been lots of discussions about the new slab, quality control, over grading, and stricter grading. Overall, the grades look accurate to me (but what do I know). I had duplicates of the same variety (1884-O O/O VAM-10). I sent an identical coin to PCGS as well. It received the same grade as ANACS (MS63).

Out of the 30 holders, I only noticed one that has rough edges and the appearance of melted plastic.
4 coins came back in the older style holder due to problems. They received "DETAILS" grading.

First, I would like to say that VAM's desease is funny. Second, that I just cherrypicked an 1898-O vam-7a from the coin shop last Saturday Great submission sir!
