Hiya folks, my 2009 silver proof set came today and all of the coins look great! However, since some folks have received 'problem' coins, I would still go to a dealer and hand pick a set given the opportunity, even if it cost extra. That would save a lot of hassle from mint return/replacement set, etc. My two collecting objectives now are: 1) A complete silver proof set of state quarters to hang on the wall. and 2) A complete set of silver proof American Silver Eagles to hang on the wall. (not including the reverse proof-I don't care for them, and I want my set to match). I love the cameos and the higher reflectivity of silver. The prices should be affordable and I can take my time to assemble the sets. I'll also be able to look at them at will. Collect on and have fun!
Proof ASE might be a little costly, but good luck with your collection! Post pictures when you're nearly completed!
