    1943 cents are tricky because of the plating. Wonder what @Fred Weinberg has to say.

    Kentucky is rite, and them coins your looking at appear to be old reprocessed coins, re plated .

    There are dozens of this type of doubling on the steel Cents. Lots of varieties exist. I suggest you do a little research as this is very common.

    I did. I might have several. ...but this one isn't listed. Check out the nose. It's very odd.

    That's not what he's saying. They haven't been replated. Look at the full obverse and reverse they are dark because the zink has worn and become dull. The color changes with lighting and close up pics.

    Those photos are not the best
    quality and sharpness to verify anything.

    The '3' in the photo is strange, but I think
    it has more to do with lighting and focus
    than the possibility that it's a n
