Real, or fake?

    Happened upon this in an auction and it struck me as fake - gut feeling - just looking at it. Upon closer examination, I see NO colored threads that are common on these notes.

    It sold for $300 at BK Auction.

    Look again. ;)

    Blue threads all over the note. The red threads are absent.

    Suggest this experiment: See if the red threads can become less visible while the blue threads stay bold if a note is bleached. Otherwise, the type of light used to image the note my hide the red threads.
