    That looks like a nice coin. What cleaning process are you going to use? Those hard green deposits can be very stubborn.

    I'd love to see it, just out of curiosity. I've got an 1865 IHC that has that same hard crusty verdigris all over it from top to bottom, but I love it like that. At first I tried to get it off with paint stripper (xylene), and it didn't budge one millimeter. I'm kind of glad it didn't, now. Mine is uniform, though, with nothing showing through in spots, as this one. I'd try to get it off this one, it could be done.
