    I didn't want to hijack the thread, so I decided to start a new one. Please weigh in on this one:)


    Ideally, it would obviously be better for all companies to grade 100% accurately, but as a new collector, I would rather have a conservative grade as to an overinflated grade any time. I know I've not been collecting long enough to have much of a respected opinion on most things, but seeing things like MS70 grades all the time just kinda irks me...I just don't believe in MS70. I think so many coins are graded way too high. Anyway that's my rant on that. Now discuss:)

    A fine example for what has been stated on this forum many times....."buy the coin, not the holder".

    has anyone ever said, buy the coin (or note) not the holder :D

    all TPG's grade slightly different. And they all have swings in how items are graded over time. But if 'you' the buyer always grade the item in the holder before bidding, then the TPG swings dont matter as much.
