I won't (and can't) make NGC Registry Sets anymore. BUT I still can do Custom Sets. Here's a start on my Capped Bust Quarters-Reduced Size. What do you think? With NGC ready and willing to let members create a set like this on their website, there's no need for you to put the effort into doing it on your own. You're not approaching it as some "competitive" thing, just looking to display your set to the world. What you've done works quite well for that.
