    Hi all,

I just realized that this coin could be worth some serious coin if it is in the MS64-65 area... I'm thinking it is RD/BN and at least MS63. I think it says "65" on the holder... though it's been sitting in there for probably 40+ years and it still has quite a bit of original luster still.

Any guess on Grade? Is this one I should send to PCGS? Thanks!

Very nice, but I don't think you will get a 65 from PCGS. I see it as an AU, but it may need some conservation to help the green spots. It may be a risky endeavor to send it in, But I've had a bit of luck with NCS lately.

That's a pretty half cent. It is not MS so don't get your hopes up. But I would submit it for grading, after treating the verdigris/PVC.

It may get "genuined" for color or cleaning. Hard to say. But again, it is a pretty coin I wouldn't mind owning.

To me it is a cleaned and recolored XF.
