the banks around my way are all into hoarding everything that comes though. I have no luck at my local banks. They either hoard or will not help me.
I know one of the tellers definitely likes me, very friendly all the time. Perhaps that helps. But I get good service in all my banks around town, they will even call other branches at the drop of a pin if I need something.

When you go into the bank, do you just ask for change for a specific bill, or do you say that you want to sift through the older bills if they have any?
The teller that let this one to me is not a collector, I do not know what I could do for her, but the other teller saves things for me, and she is a collector, so when I got the three 1953 $2's, she got one of them, had to sell it to her, since she is in a bank, but she was very happy.
