I've got this 24 d I was wondering about. Any opinions as to whether it's been cleaned? I think it's perhaps an XF-45--am I far off? Thanks!

I'd say you are close. I'm thinking around EF-40 maybe VF-35 on a bad day.

    Nice 24-D EF40-45 seems close.
Was it cleaned, maybe but long long ago.

Another year noted for crappy strikes. I think it might have a shot at AU. I do not think it has been cleaned.

I'm feeling XF for this one.

Id go 35-40 with this one. I dont think the TPGs, pcgs anyway, is all that forgiving , after looking at some recent heritage sales anyway.

Thank you everybody for your input! I suspect that while the coin may have been cleaned, it was long ago and has re-toned nicely since.
