Here's another one but I am not sure if this is a damaged or at etc. It didn't cost an arm and a leg, and is returnable when it arrives.
The scratches on top of the obverse, scratches next to her on the obverse and the reverse make me think they AT it to hide something, most likely cleaning but these dimes do sometimes tone like this. What a wonderful coin!
This is a coin that you will have to see in hand to know what's going on. The toning is making it tough. I think I see some damage and maybe some clash marks. I'm not sure but the image makes it look pretty. Please let us know when you receive the coin.
definitely needs in hand inspection under good light. ?small x's in the right obv field and ?corrosion spots. digs on the rev under dime. Color looks sort of strange to me. good luck!
Looks like original toning over many years on a problem coin. There are some good toners out there, but this is one that wouldn't be worth the time and effort on.
