I've only finished editing this one but I have a few more to do. I thought id share these here. This is the first time I've seen some of these coins and I figured I wasn't the only one.

Very happy I was able to photograph them for him.

Looks like a lamination error to me!

    Beauty.

I'd sure polish the slab if I were the owner, though.

Some of the holders are pretty scratched up. Amazingly, the old white anacs seem to hold up the best. I go through and use Plastix on all of the slabs before I shoot them, sometimes it works wonders, other times they are duds.

Here's another one I just finished editing.

Some nice coins there! The 20c piece photo illustrates one thing I hate about NGC holders. It's really hard to get scratches out. What I do in this case is smear a thin film of oil on the slab before taking the picture (wiping it off afterwards). This fills in the scratches and a little of the weird texture of the NGC plastic and lets you get a much better picture. I have a dropper bottle with Ultrapure lamp oil (doesn't stink). One drop, smear with finger, and be careful not to accumulate dust and bubbles. Don't use WD-40 or anything else applied as a spray, since that will give you lots of bubbles.

I use good old mineral oil (sold as a laxative) for the same purpose. wipe off with a tissue and then a little windex and no oil residue.
