what date is this (its either 1894 or 1904)? the orange tinted one looks like 1904. there is what appears to be a shiny spot ( like it may have been hit there) on the right side of the 8/9. in the silver looking one it actually looks like the 8 that appears to be on the 1894 coins.

i compared to a number of them and it looks looks like the hole in the middle of a 0 would extend all the way to the base of the 4 not just to the cross part of it.(3rd digit)

this coin is VERY worn, it doesnt have any reeding on the edge and it jingles in in airtight. i just wanna identify it. thanks in advance.

    Pictures aren't great, but I'd say 1894. It's a Barber Dime (1892-1916), far as I can tell.

    1904 - look at the 2 digits - there is a difference.

A better scan would really help. Trying to figure it out from blurry pics is a crap shoot at best.

I have to agree with "GDJMSP" on this one and say that is is definitely a 1904! You can tell that the third digit is a "0" (zero) by it's elongated center and comparing it with the crossbar on the "4". If it was a "9" then the bottom of the circle portion would be even with the crossbar on the "4".

Do a search on ebay for 1904 Barber. That is what it looks like to me.
