Rare CUD Est. Value

I am aware your typically CUD is est $5-$25, but I've never seen one with such large areas of distortion, let alone both sides of the coin. If anyone needs better pictures let me know. A lucky find on laundry day for sure

Sorry, not a cud. Probably had been in a fire.

 

Would it be worth taking to a coin shop or don't bother?

 

It's post mint damage (PMD). Worth face value.

 

If that was CUD, you may have lowered the value of the coin using a needle nose pliers to grip the coin.

If it were a real error it wouldn't be a cud. Cuds are only at the edge of a coin and are never in the middle. This coin is definitly PMD from heat.

 

Not a cud, but it is PMD.

 

Appreciate all the replies -- at least I'm finding out what it is. Couldn't help but be hopeful initially, especially around the holidays.
