Rare Coin

    I have this coin not sure what it really is. The coin is about the size of a silver dollar, and on the front readsRIMP HU BO REG M THE RESIADG and on the back BURG.CO.TYR 1780.X ARCHID AVST.DUX Could anyone tell me if they have ever heard or seen one of these

    It sounds like a M. Thresia. Most of those we see dated 1780 are modern restrikes. Meaning that the coin while it looks old and is dated 1780 it was struck in modern times as a novelty piece. I see them all of the time. They have the same amount of silver as a US silver dollar in them and are worth about $13-$15. A picture would tell for sure... But I'm pretty sure that this is going to be one of those.
