Had some friends send me this book. Their parents had given it to them and they thought of me. Gotta be grateful for good friends. I thought this was too interesting to keep to myself and wanted to share with the forum. Any information would be nice. I thought the last pic. would be interesting. Enjoy.
Gee... how did you know? Look on the first page about 1" down for the edition #. That is the only way to keep track. The folks on eBay do not know how to list edition #'s.
I was wondering what happened to my copy of that. I remember dropping it somewhere back about 1932 or 3. :goofer: Books like that are really great. I've got a catalog from a place I used to go to about 40 years ago for coins. Sometimes books or articles like that are as great as coins too.
There has never been a study of the rarity of individual editions. But, this is one way to keep a list of them, since in many years Mehl issed two editions, so the copywrite date is not sufficient.
Understood. I do not plan on collecting them..but then again you never know what I'm gonna do. I go through my gotta collect it moments.
