While I was looking for a City of Constantinople commemorative, I somehow ended up buying this: https://www.vcoins.com/ancient/faillanumismatics/store/viewitem.asp?idProduct=180 Me likes :kewl: Also...bought this one...do you guys think it's a fouree, or just needs a cleaning? Either way, I wanted a Baktrian, and although it was at the bottom at my want list, I decided to jump on it for the price tag: https://www.vcoins.com/ancient/ecin/store/viewitem.asp?idProduct=9555 stainless
Oh My Oh My~I looked at those and the 1st thing that popped into my mind was~ How were those things made? I've read a little about hammer in right hand.......and something else in the left, right?

Every gal in Constantinople, lives in Istanbul, not Constantinople. So, if you have a date in Constantinople, she'll be waiting in Istanbul. Sorry. I HAD to. (Honotai is going to kill me to death.) In other news, great looking coins!
I'd say this is not fourree but whether it will clean up well is a good question. The seller mentioned the edge issue so you will need to be careful not to chip it away.
Indeed, even if its not a fouree that drachm looks done. I've seen a lot of these with horribly rough surfaces. But as its identifiable, at the right price. Hermaios, posthumous issue struck by Indo-Skythians near Taxila. c. 55-50 BC BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣΩTHROΣ EPMAIOY laureate bust right Maharajasa tratarasa Heramayasa Zeus seated facing slightly left, holding sceptre, monogram to r. Bopearachchi série 11B. The Castulan bronze is just a nice, honest little Celtiberian bronze. Good pick up.
